For fall of 2019, Zang Toi created a collection inspired by the spirit of the red, white and blue of his adopted country, the United States of America. Zang said, "From the first day that I arrived in New York 38 years ago, I knew I was home.”

Toi's creations were luscious and lovely. The garments were cut from the finest silks and wools and topped with opulent furs. Toi likes to mix dark blue and black in his day wear, creating classic outfits that will stop traffic in cosmopolitan cities and/or anywhere else, for that matter.

And then there were the show-stopping gowns in stunning shades of red, white and blue.

Fantastic as always and what a wonderful celebration of the United States' luck in attracting immigrants such as Toi and the other wonderful immigrant designers who make Fashion Week great year after year!

Celebrity Guests at the show included: Carol Alt, Nigel Barker, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Gillian Hearst, Bill Hemmer, Marla Maples, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Katherine Narducci, Jean Shafiroff, Donald Trump Jr., and Dr. Ruth Westheimer.
