Vera Wang is the go-to designer for socialites wishing to clothe their lives in an elegant simplicity; Wang's creations never "wear the wearer."

For Spring/Summer 2014, Vera Wang created a line of sculptural/sporty daywear that deserves an exhibit at MoMA. The garments were created from a mix of light and dark - tough looking fabric covered in a swirl of spring's ubiquitous silk illusion. Wang's game changing designs are works of walking art to be cherished and passed down from fashion forward mothers to their daughters.

Wang developed her esthetic as a fashion editor for Vogue and then as design director for Ralph Lauren. She launched her own line in 1990 and has since expanded to include ready-to-wear, footwear, eyewear, fragrance, flowers, china and crystal, silver and gifts, bedding, fine papers and her first book, "Vera Wang On Weddings." Vera Wang is the 2013 recipient of The Council of Fashion Designers of America's Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
